These terms govern your use of Pulse App, a cybersecurity education and intelligence platform operated by Arcandel, LLC. By using Pulse App, you agree to these terms.
The Service
Pulse App provides cybersecurity education, threat intelligence, and security awareness tools including vulnerability tracking, security briefings, threat actor profiles, educational games, quizzes, and learning resources.
The information in Pulse App is for educational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we don't guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Security landscapes change rapidly — always verify critical information through official sources.
Availability
Pulse App is currently available only in the United States. By using the app, you represent that you are located in the United States. We may expand availability to other regions in the future.
Eligibility
We do not collect government-issued identification for age verification. Your agreement to these Terms constitutes your binding certification that you meet the age requirement. Providing false information about your age is a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination, loss of access to all services (including paid subscriptions), and forfeiture of any fees paid, without refund.
Age requirements may change when Pulse App exits alpha. We will notify users of any changes through the app.
Accounts
Creating an account is optional. If you create one:
- You're responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials
- You're responsible for all activity under your account
- You must provide accurate information
- You should notify us if you suspect unauthorized access
Subscriptions & Payments
Pulse App offers free and paid tiers:
- Open (free): Core features with ads
- Focused (paid): Premium features, no ads
- Deep (paid): All features including AI summaries and custom alerts
Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled by those platforms according to their policies. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for illegal purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
- Access or attempt to access our APIs, servers, databases, or backend systems through unauthorized means
- Copy, reproduce, or create derivative works based on the app, its code, data, design, or content
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to interact with the app or extract data
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, access controls, or usage limits
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without explicit written permission
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the app
- Redistribute content from the app without permission
- Use the app to harm, harass, or deceive others
- Misuse security information obtained through the app
- Use information about vulnerabilities or attack techniques to attack systems you don't own or have permission to test
Intellectual Property
Pulse App and its original content, features, functionality, source code, databases, APIs, and design are owned by Arcandel, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. The app may display content from third-party sources (NVD, CISA, MITRE) which remains the property of those organizations.
You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.
Third-Party Content & Services
Pulse App aggregates information from government and industry sources including the National Vulnerability Database, CISA, and MITRE ATT&CK. We're not responsible for the accuracy of third-party content.
Links to external websites are provided for reference. We don't control and aren't responsible for external sites.
AI Service Providers
AI-powered features are provided through third-party artificial intelligence services. By using AI features, you also agree to comply with our AI service providers' terms of service and acceptable use policies. These services have their own age, content, and usage restrictions that apply in addition to these Terms.
We may change AI service providers at any time without notice. AI features may be modified, limited, or discontinued based on provider availability or changes to provider terms.

Age Verification: We do not collect government-issued identification, biometric data, facial recognition data, or other sensitive personal information for age verification purposes. Age requirements are enforced through user self-certification.
Responsible Disclosure
We take security seriously. If you discover a security vulnerability or privacy issue in Pulse App, we ask that you:
- Report it to us promptly at security@arcandel.com
- Provide sufficient detail for us to understand and reproduce the issue
- Give us reasonable time to investigate and address the issue before any public disclosure
- Not exploit the vulnerability or access data beyond what's necessary to demonstrate the issue
- Not use the vulnerability to access, modify, or delete other users' data
We appreciate responsible security research and will not pursue legal action against researchers who follow these guidelines in good faith.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Arcandel, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your misuse of information obtained through Pulse App
- Your use of security knowledge to access, test, or attack systems without proper authorization
- Any claims that your actions caused harm to third parties
Disclaimers
Pulse App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
The information in Pulse App is for educational purposes only. It's not professional security advice. You're responsible for your own security decisions.
We're not liable for any security incidents, data breaches, or damages that may occur regardless of whether you used information from this app.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arcandel, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Pulse App.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.
Termination
You can stop using Pulse App anytime by deleting it from your device. If you have an account, you can delete it in the app settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. We'll try to provide notice when possible, but reserve the right to act immediately if necessary.
Changes to These Terms
We may modify these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, stop using the app.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in the State of New Jersey.
Entire Agreement & Assignment
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Arcandel, LLC regarding Pulse App. They supersede any prior agreements or communications.
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms doesn't constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it later.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
